Miranda has been a real asset to Paul’s Place and she has worked, in a collaborative way, with the staff team, service users and Trustees of the charity. She has supported individuals to understand the strategy and helped them see how their contribution fits into the bigger picture. Miranda is a skilled facilitator, who has the ability to take a group through a creative and participative process that welcomes and includes everyone’s contributions. Miranda has a calm and positive energy and an understated confidence that the team have responded well to and as an outcome we have an organisational understanding of who we are and where we are going.

Thank you for all you’ve done, and continue to do, for Xenia. The clarity, enthusiasm, competence and skill you brought to the organisation was just superb.
Organiser for Strategy and Governance, Xenia, 2021
I had the pleasure of working with Miranda when she managed and delivered the Housing Studies Association Conference in 2020. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic the Executive Committee made the decision to move a 3 day physical conference online into a 4-week long series of events. Miranda was commissioned around 3 months from the start of the event and managed the preparations, delivery and post conference work superbly. Whilst this was a novel experience for all concerned Miranda’s steely professionalism, communication skills and attention detail produced superb conference experience. We have since commissioned Miranda on a number of other occasions to support the Housing Studies Association with other events and tasks. She is a pleasure to work with and highly recommended.
Prof. Phil Brown, Housing Studies Association, Chair 2019-2021
I’ve been working with Miranda for a number of years now and her wide range of expertise related to the not-for-profit sector has been invaluable. She has helped us with research to assist with fundraising, policy making, creating risk registers and advice on risk mitigation and has supported the Board on its journey to become a better governance mechanism. Miranda is very easy to work with, is thoughtful and creative. As a Board, we welcome her fresh pair of eyes on any matters arising. Ready to challenge where necessary, she has provided valuable Board expertise.
Chair, Education for the Children Foundation, 2021
Miranda is an excellent communicator with a collaborative working style and she has been a very committed and involved member of the Brook House Independent Monitoring Board. Miranda had a lead role in the Safety section of the Board’s latest annual report, where she demonstrated the ability to cut through to and articulate the key issues in a complex area, with good use of data and other evidence to support analysis of policies in practice, all making for a strong and effective contribution.
Chair, Independent Monitoring Board, 2020
I worked with Miranda when she took the lead as a volunteer for the European Campaign to End Rough Sleeping to analyse the data collected from people rough sleeping in Brighton & Hove who were interviewed by volunteers. She clearly has a high level of analytical skills and the ability to translate data into an accessible report.
